   SUPPLY OF  INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES

Invitation for Bids

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. WB4892 of October, 2015.

2. The United Republic of Tanzania has received a credit No.5589-TZ from the International Development Association toward the cost of the South West Indian Ocean Fisheries Governance and   Shared Growth program – SWIOFish, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the supply Information Technology (ICT) Equipment and Accessories.

3. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of  Livestock and Fisheries  Development now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Supply of   the following:

1	Desktop Computer, Laptop, Printers, Scanner	various
2	Photocopiers	various
3	LCD Projectors and Digital Camera	various
4	Server	various

Interested bidders may bid for a single lot or  combination of  lots, but in any case bidders must quote for full quantities in each lot. The purchaser shall evaluate the bids for each lot and award the contract on  lot-by- lot basis or a combination of lots whichever is more economical. Bids not quoting for full quantities in a lot will be considered non-responsive

  4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures  as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non- Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by The World Bank   Borrowers (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all   eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

     5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Coordinator, South West Indian Ocean Fisheries Governance and   Shared Growth Project – SWIOFish or Secretary Ministerial Tender Board office at Temeke Veterinary Complex, along131 Nelson  Mandela Road  Dar-es-Salaam Tanzania  Tel +255-22-21861910/2860470 and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 0900 hours to 1500 hours Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

    6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Tshs 100,000.00 or USD 100.00.The method of payment will be cash or banker’s cheque payable to   the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Development

   7.  Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box located in Room No. 4 in the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Development Temeke Veterinary Complex 131 Nelson Mandela Road,  at or before 10.00 hours local time on 26^thNovember, 2015.  Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who  choose to attend in person at  the address below at 10.00 hours local time on 26^th November 2015, at the Conference room- Mvuvi House.

   8.   All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of  2.5% of the bid price in the currency of the tender or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible     currency
