World Rabies Day is an initiative of GARC. We started it in 2007 to create a global opportunity for people to focus on rabies prevention.Since then, it has grown year on year, with hundreds of thousands of people participating in events on or around September 28 - and at other times of year too.
The organizers and participants are people like you, whether you live in a rabies endemic area and at risk of the disease or, just care deeply about the devastating impact of the disease and want to do some thing about it.
And we're here to support, advise, celebrate and share.
Together we can end rabies.
